Function: Worked the float pool in Temple VA hospital for 1 year prior to being transferred to Austin clinic. Staff nurse in outpatient clinic. While in Temple worked all areas of hospital working closely with all Physicians concerning patient care and education. Working with all primary care and specialty physicians as intake information, assessing for all mandated reminders and encounters as established for VA. Administering anti-ejection medications for newly transplant patients for 21 day stay. Staff nurse on renal floor for newly diagnosed renal failure or damage. Work closely with MDs on patient assessments, continual re-assessment of patient status.

Function: Nurse for dialysis patients on early shift. Continuous assessment of patients during dialysis, working closely with MDs to determine appropriate treatment run on dialysis.
