I started as a nurse assistant and by taking advantage of the education opportunities offered to the staff I became a patient care technician and later a monitor tech, position that I held for six years while attending nursing school. Worked as a telemetry nurse till 2004. In 2004 I joined the most acute CVICU in the region at University Medical Center. I worked next to some of the most experienced nurses in the area. After almost three years of working four to six shifts a week I transferred to Diagnostic Cardiology where I performed stress testing.

acls,bls certified
CVICU recovering open heart surgeries including CABG, Valves, Ventricular Assist Devices, Vascular cases, Total Artificial Hearts, Balloon Pumps, Catheterizations.
For the past year I have been performing stress testing including, tilt tables, T wave, treadmills, nuclear pharmacologic and exercise tests, MVO2, Exercise stress echoes and Dobutamine stress echoes. .
