 Review pre operative labs, echocardiograms, cardiac catheterizations for cardiac surgery patients
 Draw up sodium bicarbonate, calcium gluconate, heparin, mannitol before the heart surgery
 Make transducers for anesthesia
 Scrub into cardiopulmonary bypass surgeries with the purpose of connecting the arterial and venous cannulae before going on bypass
 Chart for the CPB surgery
 Run arterial and venous blood gasses
 Order and run to get blood as needed
 Keep inventory on perfusion supplies needed as well as ordering when needed
 Round in the Pediatric Intensive care Unit on all cardiac post-operative patients and collect vitals and intake and output
 Orthopaedic Surgery/ Trauma Surgery/ Liver Transplants
 Autotransfusionist for these cases. I manage a cell saver and reinfuse the patients with autologous blood during the surgery.
 Pediatric Burns
 Manage the burn clysis for skin grafting
 Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)
 Make wash for the ECMO pump
 Draw up albumin, bicarbonate, heparin, calcium chloride for the procedure
