I was excited to hear about this opportunity to contribute in such a vital way to this important cause. Reaching out to those in need and having a positive impact on lives have been underlying themes throughout my career.
Throughout my career, health education has been primary in my approach to patient care. Clinical studies have demonstrated the link between education and improved patient satisfaction and actual outcomes. These have only served to strengthen my dignity based belief system focusing on the rights and ability of individuals to manage their health care and make informed decisions, and my resolve to enable individuals to do so.
I am comfortable in front of a large gathering as well as one-on-one, and am experienced in creating and using Power Point presentations. My teaching skills include public speaking, writing, presenting, and facilitating.
