• Responsible for GAAP & SEC reporting, external press releases and investment banking relationships.
• Implemented in-house FASB 109 provisions and tax related consolidations, saving over $100k outsourcing costs. Appropriated state tax consolidations to reduce effective tax rate, providing savings of $2.0 million.

• Engaged with BTR plc to prepare due diligence materials to divest Formica, including composure of prospectus with investment bankers Wasserstein Perella & Co., and strategic planning of accounting matters. • Strategic involvement with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) investment bankers on repurchase of Formica and related due diligence for the buyer. Assisted with filing the SEC 144(A) IPO bond offering.
• Liaison with Ernst & Young, Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Anderson’s audit and tax in U.S. and Australia.
• Prepared external financials and consolidations in both Australian and U.S. GAAP, including purchase accounting and planning of financial operations subsequent to the sale. Provided SEC financial statements and disclosures.
• Supported new management with recommendations to re-structure and improve Formica from a financial perspective, including analysis of quantitative asset purchases and utilizations, sale-leaseback transactions and economic value added (EVA) analysis.
