Mountain View Care Center is located in beautiful Boulder City Nevada – 20 miles south of Las Vegas! Boulder City is a small, non gambling community, approximately 5 miles from Hoover Dam.

Responsibilities:
·Supports and practices the philosophy, objectives and standards of the Department of Nursing and participates in the revision of these as necessary to ensure the highest quality of care delivered to all patients/residents.
·Coordinates interdisciplinary patient/resident care management efforts.
·Assist in the development of the department budget, monitor expenses and stay within budget.
·Plan and facilitate meetings and committees to address resident care issues; proactively handle survey and/or standards of care issues
·Ensure that adequate nursing staff are available, based on facility and census requirements
·Assumes full responsibility for the operation and management of the facility in the temporary absence of Facility Administrator as directed by the Administrator
Qualifications
·Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator. Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.
Two to Three years of experience as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing or equivalent supervisory nursing experience in long term care
·Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.
·Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (RN) with a valid NV state RN license or eligible for reciprocity.
