Job Description:

Do you still see yourself doing bedside nursing in 5 or 10 years, or do feel like you want to use your Nursing education and your clinical background for more? I'm a Nurse and believe me, there is a whole new rewarding world of opportunity out there in which you will LOVE getting out of bed in the morning!!

We're a recruiting agency conducting a search for CLINICAL NURSE EDUCATOR's (CNE) for a small medical company. This company sells laser equipment to dermatologists. We are looking for a personable RN that will work hand-in-hand with the local Sales Representative within the designated territory. Responsibility of the CNE position includes in servicing and educating office staff and physicians on the proper use of the laser equipment, as well as attending medical trade shows as needed.

As you probably know, these opportunities don't come around very often. Nurses are generally attracted to these CNE positions because they offer a great alternative to standard bedside nursing. These positions offer autonomy, professional growth, and strong financial rewards. These are ideal positions for nurses that want to combine the use of their clinical skills and interpersonal skills on a daily basis. After working in a CNE role, Nurses often move into Pharmaceutical sales, or Medical sales positions. Many experienced CNE’s make well over $100,000 per year.

To be considered, candidates must have a minimum of one year of Nursing experience. Teaching and communication skills with a proven ability to present to customers are required. The Clinical Nurse Educator must be confident and outgoing in order to work with thought leaders in the area. Flexibility and the ability to make quick decisions are two key elements needed for this position. There will be some travel within the region and many times, the clinical specialist will be the first point of contact for the Dermatologist or Surgeon. Other duties will include troubleshooting and general sales support for the sales team.

The financial package for this position includes:

A strong base salary (base salary will be dependent on experience).
A bonus target worth an additional $10,000 - $20,000.
Full benefit package including Medical and Dental coverage.
All business related expenses are paid.
If you've been considering an alternative to standard bedside nursing, and you don't see yourself working in a hospital or office environment for the next 20 years, this may be the opportunity that you've been looking for in order to take your career in a new direction.

Don't miss this great opportunity to transition into a new sector with unlimited growth and earning potential.
