Title: Financial Consolidation & Reporting Manager

Location: New York

Salary: $150K+

Travel: 100%

Global Business Solutions corporation has opening for an experienced finance professional with business process and technical skills in financial consolidation and reporting.

Responsibilities include:

Ø Designing consolidation and reporting solutions.

Ø Implementing new consolidation and financial reporting processes within the Oracle/Hyperion Financial Management or SAP Outlooksoft toolset.

Ø Leading a team through customized application build phases (including business rule development) and managing application testing the defining of requirements through workshops, interviews and comparison to leading practices.

Ø Deliver a Financial Consolidation Project Lead role using formal implementation methodologies. The candidate Lead full lifecycle implementation projects with responsibilities for the definition of requirements, implementation of redesigned reporting and close processes, change management and training of staff required for successful roll-out of the new process and system.

Requirements:

Ø Minimum of 7 years of industry or big four consulting experience working within the Consolidations functions of complex multinational corporations.

Ø Knowledge of traditional process improvement techniques such as business process reengineering and six sigma applied within a BPM implementation is a plus.

Ø Direct, hands on experience designing and implementing Financial Consolidation and Reporting solutions for large multinational companies.

Ø Experience managing large portions of complex Financial Consolidations implementations as a Project Manager or Track Lead.

Ø Must have led at least four full lifecycle implementations of new consolidation processes using a formal implementation methodology and software from leading vendors such as SAP (Outlooksoft) or Hyperion (experience with Planning System 9 preferred).

Ø Prior experience with Big 4 Consulting companies.

Ø Expert knowledge in: Foreign Currency Translation Inter-Company Eliminations Minority Interest Sarbanes-Oxley GAAP Reporting.
