Vista Maria is one of Michigan’s largest private non-profit residential and community-based treatment agencies for abused and neglected children. The agency offers highly specialized, gender-responsive, residential treatment programs for teen girls that introduce, model, and reinforce strong, positive messages about being female. As girls progress through recovery, families are supported through positive family activities, therapy, and counseling. Vista Maria’s expertise extends to its community-based programs, which are co-educational, and includes general and treatment foster care for severely emotionally disturbed children ages 6 to17 years.
Vista Maria’s campus includes residential facilities, a state-of-the-art mental health center, two charter schools, a health clinic, and recreational and spiritual facilities that serve children and youth from across Michigan; who are in need of treatment for mental health, substance abuse, trauma recovery, and other psychosocial issues.
