Job Description:

ITs a network Logo
 Immediate opportunity for Cancer Data Analysts to assist in the research activities of the Cancer program; i.e. analyzing NationalCancer Data Base data; using quality indicators to assist the Commission on Cancer in defining evidence-based care; linking NCDB database to other secondary sources of data; writing reports and peer-reviewed papers for dissemination, and assisting with the writing of grant proposals.

Masters degree in biostatistics; epidemiology; health policy, health services research, or health economics is highly desired. Proficiency in the use of several statistical analyses packages, success in contributing to grant proposals and peer-reviewed journal articles, knowledge of medical terminology, cancer treatment methods, use of quality indicators as means to evaluate cancer care, skills in analysis of large datasets, and excellent organization and oral communication skills are required.
