 Healthcare Company looking for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

DUTIES:

- Provide general and regional anesthesia, sedation, analgesia, IV and airway management under normal and emergency conditions in hospital or clinic setting. - Prepare patients for surgical procedures.
- Provide anesthesiology services and consultations throughout the hospital.
- Perform patient assessments
- Administer appropriate injections and medications. Monitor medication efficacy. - Assure patient safety and stability and takes effective course of action.
- Support the patients’ physical and emotional stability; explain plan of care, procedures and treatments to patients and family.
- Confer and consult with physicians and support staff as needed; collaborate with other professionals
- Maintain accurate patient anesthesiology records

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge of anesthesiology principles, techniques, and procedures for the care of patients.
- Skill in providing effective anesthesiology services, assessing patient situations and taking effective courses of action.
- Skill in providing first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands.
- Skill in evaluating health problems

EDUCATION:

RN license with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or hospital diploma.
