We are currently interviewing for the following positions:

- Experienced Pharmacy Data Entry
- Experienced Pharmacy "Fill" Technician
- Experienced IV Technicians



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Data Entry Responsibilities include:

- Operates data entry devices to perform a variety of data entry and verification duties.
- Establish prescription orders and interpret prescriptions including quantity and dosing instructions according to physicians' written requests.
- Route orders as dictated by departmental policies and procedures.


Fill Technicians Responsibilities include:

- Assists the Pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy.
- Labels products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels.
- Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders and ointments.
- Packages medications for dispensing and for delivery.
- Sanitizes pharmacy packaging equipment.
- Communicates with nursing center personnel and other customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Processes returned medications from the facility for credit or destruction.
- Route orders as dictated by departmental policies and procedures.


IV Technicians Responsibilities include:

- Assists the Pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
- Types prescription information to produce labels.
- Labels products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels.
- Takes inventory, places orders, checks in drugs and supplies, stocks shelves and removes out-of-date items from the inventory.
- Inputs patient data and medication orders into a computer system.
- Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders and ointments.
- Packages medications for dispensing and for delivery.
- Sanitizes IV room, equipment and hood.
- Communicates with all customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Processes returned medications from the facility for credit or destruction.
- Knowledge of Data Entry and QS1 experience is a plus.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Data Entry Requirements:

- QS1 Experience a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician Certificate preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of one year experience in a retail, hospital or mail order pharmacy setting where primary function was transcribing handwritten medication requests from physicians.
- Ability to accurately calculate dispensing quantity, refills, days supply, etc.
- Excellent typing skills.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail a must.


Fill Technician Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician Certificate preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in a retail, hospital or mail order pharmacy setting preferred.
- Ability to accurately calculate dispensing quantity, refills, days supply, etc.
- Strong attention to detail a must.


IV Technician Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician Certificate preferred
- Minimum of one year current IV Experience.
- Minimum of one year experience in a retail, hospital or mail order pharmacy setting preferred.
- Ability to accurately calculate dispensing quantity, refills, days supply, etc.
- Strong attention to detail a must.
