Accounting


We are seeking an accounting professional with experience in military contracting for a top tier defense company. This position is located in the Meadowlands, in NJ. This role serves as a key member of the management group and requires excellent expertise in monthly closing and reporting to a higher division within the company.

Responsibilities:
Prepare annual budgets and financial plan, monthly forecasts and USG forward pricing rates
Manage and certify all government billings on cost reimbursement contracts
Facilitate and oversee government and internal audits, including assisting in development of corrective actions
Support implementation and sustainment of ACE
Meet forecasts
Conduct financial analysis
Manage annual SOX testing and documentation process

Relocation offered for the ideal candidate.

Qualifications:
BS in Accounting
CPA preferred
8-10 years progressive accounting experience
US Citizenship
Complete knowledge and working experience with GAAP, SOX and FAR government regulations
