Are you a Compensation and Benefits Manager seeking a new opportunity? We are seeking someone who has a heavy background in benefits and taken the entire process from new plans to employee roll-out (develop census data, solicited insurance quotations, evaluated plans, installed new plans, issued announcements to employees, conducted employee benefit seminars, etc.). In addition, you will become a key member of the corporate compensation team, working to support competitive compensation programs in order to attract and retain high quality associates for the company. Other responsibilities include:

· Maintaining appropriate alignment of compensation programs in accordance with business initiatives, strategic goals and pay for performance incentives.

Evaluation and administration of employee benefits (401K and pension retirement plans; medical, insurance, disability, etc.) in all company operations.
Administration of all compensation plans (annual merit, manager and executive bonus, flex, capital accumulation, etc.).
Assure compliance with ERISA; prepare reports and applications to be filed with State and Federal regulatory agencies.
Developing and maintaining salary and compensation data to insure competitiveness in compensation.
Performing job analysis and evaluations, salary surveys and other analyses to insure competitiveness of company programs.
Conducting evaluation meetings and preparing job descriptions, job grading, and market job pricing for individual positions.
Supervise maintenance of human resource records, enrollment, claims records, etc.


The company has over $10B in sales and 1300 employees across the Northeast area. We are seeking someone who has had experience dealing with Benefits as the primary nature of their job and compensation as secondary. This position reports to the corporate insurance group.



Requirements:

· A Bachelor’s Degree and 5 to 7 years experience in Compensation and Benefits Administration OR

A Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and two to four years experience in Compensation and Benefits Administration
Experience with Peoplesoft system.
Experience working with labor union employee compensation plans.
Knowledge and experience working with Blue Cross & Blue Shield plans.
