Healthcare Travel Company looking for Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) Travel Nurse

Locations: Oregon, Washington and Nevada.

Duties:

- Care for the physical and psychosocial needs of women before, during and after giving birth.
- Collaborate with physicians and other health care providers to provide the best plan of care for each patient.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan and modify it as needed to meet the changing needs of the mother, newborn, and family.

- Teach natural childbirth techniques, monitor pregnancies, provide physical and emotional support during labor and delivery, and promote healthy mother-child bonding after birth.


Qualifications:

- Empathy, critical thinking, professional judgment and decision-making skills.
- Must be able to communicate well with patients, families, and other health care providers.
- Skilled in prioritizing patient needs and cope well with a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- At least 2 years of related experience.


Education:

RN license with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or hospital diploma.
